LGI Homes 5th Apparently Creek

My family unit bought an LGI home in the 5th plain creek neighborhood for our very start home. The process was pretty much what nosotros expected. Knowing that we were working with a sales team and not a buyers amanuensis, we made sure to do our homework and compare what we were getting to what else was available on the market place. The warranty that came with the house was a large function of why we decided to move here. Working with LGI and their loan partner was a pretty good feel. Some of the final numbers weren't quite what was originally discussed. This was frustrating but not much worse than negotiating with a traditional seller, and from what I understand, a pretty standard role of buying a home. We probably could take gotten a slightly amend rate going with a different lender, but information technology was worth information technology to usa to become this route so they would cover our endmost costs. Really the only problems we accept are things that were disregarded by the construction team. There are a number of floorboards that feel almost like a sponge when you pace on them (both downstairs and upstairs). Because they move when you stride on them, the boards creak. We were told that the creak would go abroad and that was just because the house was settling. Perchance some of the noise is from the house settling, but the floorboards are uneven/spongy in several spots and I have a feeling this is something that isn't going away. At that place were pre-drilled holes for the wire shelving in our bath that were also brusque for the shelves that were used, then we accept a number of holes in the drywall that were left after they installed the shelving. Nosotros noticed after well-nigh a week that a lot of our pigment inside was cracking in the corners, not a huge bargain simply that mixed with some of the cracks in the drywall and the flooring issues, it feels like the building procedure was rushed. We just recently purchased our home and everything went bully up until nosotros moved in. Their is withal a lot of issues with our house from A/C to the h2o pump, make new house with all these issues. They build these houses so fast that their main focus is production and not making sure everything is done right. I would not recommend buying there houses.

We needed to have a house to move into by July. Had to cancel contract and they would not return our $thousand deposit. Beware!!


Sad almost our first habitation Ruined experience

Sinking front lawns nether the driveway, Rippled Roofs, uneven floors, air pockets in hard forest. The listing goes on. Poor customer service. The sales agent Manny Jauriqui was nice, at first, just when things got ugly, he started ignoring my calls. Totally unprofessional. I tried to backout of the deal, and I explained my situation to their "preferred" lender. I told them that purchasing a home could crusade me financial difficulties downwardly the road, but ultimately, they still deemed that I'one thousand financially "qualified". They refused to return my 1K deposit. And so they made a quick easy 1K out of me!

I explained to both Josh and Jack Kang that I had a unique situation and would like to speak with the mortgage company beginning so I do not receive a hard hitting on my credit for no reason. The sales manager Jack Kang tells me I can not speak with the loan officeholder about my file prior to signing the contract. So I sign the contract and everything I told them about my file is the same reason equally to why I was denied. We could take avoided the hard hit if someone had just listened to me or allowed me to speak with the mortgage company. Let's see if I get my coin back.

LGI Homes was our WORST PURCHASE EVER

We purchased our dwelling as a new build in Maricopa, AZ in April 2019. Immediately in May as the oestrus elevated outside, the HVAC system couldn't handle the need, even while set at 82*. I filed a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Constractors (ROC). However, the ROC dismissed my complaint. I didn't have money to hire an chaser to appeal the ROC'south decision. Their billion won't terminal unless they improve the quality of their work and customer service.

I (Tara) went throw different builders and stuck with LGI . I thought it is good builder. We were scheduled for a bout. The sales guy showed us the first... was small-scale. We were looking for 3 bed and two bath1800 sqft. Then nosotros moved on to next. The sales guy said it'due south 1800 sqft. I liked the house. He asked me to put down $yard to take house off the marketplace. He said it'due south completely refundable incase I change my heed or if I don't workout so I put $1000 down. Since it is my first home, I went through internet and did a bit of research on it. The research revealed the home Wichita he said 1800 sqft.was 1600+ and the one he said 1600 was only 1300+ sqft.
